Charisma Carpenter
Charisma Carpenter, who was born July 23, 1970 She is an American actress. [1] She played Cordelia Chase in the supernatural drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999) and its spin-off series Angel (1999-2004). She also starred as Kyra in Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablancas in Veronica Mars (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell in The Lying Game (2012-2013) as well as Lacy in The Expendables film series (2010-2012 ).
Carpenter was the daughter of Christine Carpenter, a bird sanctuary worker and Don Carpenter (a salesman), and was born in Las Vegas. Carpenter is from Spanish, French, and German descendance (from her maternal grandfather). Carpenter was a student at the Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas.[6She was an active member of a dance group which was a part of Las Vegas Valley at nine years.
Carpenter was Carpenter was 15, her family moved to Rosarito Beach, Baja California, Mexico[2] and then to San Diego, California. She attended Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter was a frequent traveler throughout Europe after graduating. After returning to San Diego, she worked as a video store clerk as well as an aerobics instructor and in property management. In 1991 she was working as a cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers football team, In 1992, she moved to Los Angeles.
Henry Hubbard Jr. was a former San Diego officer and serial rapist who tried to subdue her and two of her male buddies as they were swimming in San Diego in 1991. In the course of the battle, both her friends and Hubbard were killed, forcing him to flee from the scene but both were able to escape the attack. Hubbard was detained, found guilty, and sentenced to 56 years of prison for a series of rapes and robberies. Carpenter carried Hubbard's police-issued flashlight to the beach, which he had left on the beach, and the flashlight was an important piece of evidence used against him.
Carpenter was listed as No. 31 on the AskMen's Top 99 Most Wanted Women 2002[30[30.] and No. 44 on their 2005 list. However, Carpenter has stated she doesn't consider herself to be the sex symbol. Carpenter was on the cover of Playboy magazine's June 2004 issue. She also appeared in a ten page nude photograph. People magazine asked Carpenter in 2005 if she'd ever again pose for Playboy. Carpenter responded "I don’t know." I did Playboy because of a specific reason. It was a good choice for me financially. I also felt that it was the best thing for me. After having my son, I had gained 50 pounds in the course of pregnancy. I wanted to return to my former self. I wanted to be at ease and attractive. I was thinking, "What if I went full throttle?"
