Gugulethu Sophie Mbatha, also called Gugu is a British stage actress and film actor. She gained fame after her role in BBC's 'Doctor Who' British science fiction television series. Gugu had a massive success in this series, playing Tish Jones. Tish is the sister of Martha Jones. Gugu was set to pursue a career in acting after viewers were captivated by her jovial personality. She also appeared in other British stage and television productions. Critics are raving about her amazing performance in the British period-drama 'Belle,' (2013) and in the romance drama "Beyond the lights", (2014). She has even been in a variety of American films like "Larry Crowne", an actor Tom Hanks comedy film and TV shows like the 'Undercover', and 'Touch.' Gugu Mbatha Raw played the lead role in the stage play "Nell Gwynn" written by Jessica Swale as an actress who was also the mistress of King Charles II. They praised her acting as well, resulting in her nomination for a prestigious award for most outstanding actress. Gugu has been awarded an award called the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth.
Chelsea Joy Handler was born on the 25th of February 75th, 1975, located in Livingston, New Jersey. She was the youngest of six kids in her family. Handler was the daughter of a car salesman and housewife. Her mother was an German immigrant who came to her home in United States in 1958. Cancer of the breast was diagnosed in the year 1989. She died a decade following her battle with cancer. Handler is a reform Jew as well as her father who was Jewish. Handler had a pleasant, healthy childhood in a good neighbourhood. She was just 19 when she decided to move to Los Angeles and pursue acting. Handler was forced to become an actress to survive. Handler decided to focus on stand-up comedy when she was 21, following the realization of her storytelling skills. Handler began her stand-up career becoming a member of the female-only Oxygen cast, which was a part of a television show called Girls Behaving Badly. The series was famous for its hidden camera as well as practical joke. Between 2002 and 2005, the show was aired. The handler then began appearing in other programs such as Weekends at the D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler started her career as a correspondent for The Tonight Show. Handler made her breakthrough in 2006, when she took over hosting of E! The show was titled Chelsea Handler. The show ran for two seasons. Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour the next time throughout the United States. The stand-up shows she has performed have been aired on VH1 and Comedy Central's Premium Blend, and HBO. Her name was chosen to host the The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in 2010. She became the second female in history, following Roseanne Barr, to host the VMAs.
